Today for about two and a half hours we islanders were without cell phone service, and internet....the horror!! It felt like all the tasks I needed to do were directly linked to my computer, but I did manage to make good use of my time by seeing the lovely gardens and home of a neighbor/client/friend who is thinking of selling in the village of Salvo. If you want Coastal Living, this is the one...stay tuned.
Meanwhile, if you want to get some of the best views of the ocean, consider the Genesis cottage for $529,000 in Rodanthe. The house used for the movie, "Nights in Rodanthe," has been moved just to the south of Genesis....but I think the real gems here will be the sunrise in the "Mornings in Rodanthe....."
