Always have a Plan B on the island....ALWAYS. So, tried to go up the beach yesterday on the holiday for my son and husband, but mama nature said, "no."
Anyway, be sure to put this link to the Web cam at the northern end of Rodanthe on your bookmarks...it doesn't hurt to check it out before you travel.
